1907 $5 Legal Tender Woodchopper Pmg 20 Fr 88 H40523407
This note is commonly called a "woodchopper" as the pioneer man is standing with his axe and has his loyal dog nearby. This example has been graded by PMG as Very Fine 20 and is a better Friedberg number for the series, Fr 88 is about six times scarcer than Fr 91. We understand grading a picture a note on the computer can be difficult. In addition to high resolution scans we try to list any problems you may not be able to see.
Sometimes mistakes do happen and we may miss something. Professionalism combined with excellent customer service is a priority.
